Black vintage 'Les Paul' guitar |
Technical specifications
Classic Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar, black finish, very good condition, 31 years old. The Gibson Les Paul Studio is a solid body electric guitar produced by the Gibson Guitar Corporation since 1983. The name "Studio" comes from the idea that this model would be sonically indistinguishable from a Les Paul Standard or Custom in the recording studio, and that the flashier guitars would be reserved for stage use. The Les Paul is famous for sporting a double-dose of humbuckers, and the Gibson USA Les Paul Studio is no exception. In the bridge position you’ll find the 498T, a powerful high-output pickup that boasts a potent upper mid-range and saturates beautifully with overdrive. The 490R neck humbucker is tamer, with a more vintage character akin to that of a traditional PAF. Featuring traditional Les Paul circuitry, the Studio’s electronics provide more versatility than some of its older counterparts. |
