Technical specifications
The USA Bantam Super Spot is by far one of our favorite vintage theatre lights, due to its pure but intricate and intriguing design. The main body is made of metal and the front and rear grills are made of aluminium giving it a stark contrast when polished. The unit is powered by a 500 watt Philips globe. It has a knob on the back that adjusts the bulb in and out for different intensity levels. The item is in nice unrestored vintage condition.
The GoldE Manufacturing Co was a company that existed between 1920-1958 and manufactured projectors, both film and slide, and theatre lighting equipment. At some point in their history they were located at 1220-C West Madison St in Chicago.
This is our only Bantam Super Spot in the collection for the moment and we haven’t been able to find any more for quite a while. A beautiful unrestored unique investment piece in your home or mancave.
